Planning an improvement to your home’s exterior or Lot?

Proposal plans (including a narrative description and a drawing) must be submitted to the Architectural Review Committee for review (which will automatically be copied to each of the Board of Directors) and subsequently approved by the Board of Directors prior to commencing any work. Wondering what the HOA is required to mow and otherwise maintain?

See the Declarations Article VII Section 7.2 for details.  Essentially, it’s the Common Areas, which is defined “shall include all portions of the property designated on the Plat as an “Outlot”, “Common Area”, or such other areas within the Property that are not otherwise identified on the Plat as a Lot or a street”.

Wondering what the “Owners” are required to mow?

See the Declarations Article VII Section 7.1 for details.  Essentially, it’s “all portions of his Lot”.

Find a conflict or contradiction between the governing documents?
